If you've ever wondered how long a DrinkTanks growler actually keeps your drink at the right temperature -- or how long your beer stays carbonated once you've sealed it up -- here's the real answer, straight from our own product specs.
Cold Retention
Both of our main product lines -- Craft and Session -- use the same wide double-wall vacuum insulation chamber, which is what sets our temperature retention apart from the competition, with no condensation or sweating on the outside. Thanks to the more technical cap and our patented dual-bail closure system, Craft growlers keep beverages cold for up to 45 hours, while Session growlers hold cold for 24 hours or more.
Hot Retention
Both lines also keep drinks hot for a minimum of 12 hours -- more than enough time to keep your coffee piping hot through a full work day.
Carbonation Retention
If you fill and transport your Craft growler with the Standard Cap that comes with purchase, your beer stays fresh and pressurized for up to 30 days, until the seal is broken -- much like a can before you open it. Once you've opened it and poured a drink, seal it back up right away with the dual-bail closure system to lock in as much freshness and remaining carbonation as possible. If you only open it once, your growler can hold onto its carbonation and flavor for up to a week.
