Our commitment to quality is backed by a no-hassle warranty against manufacturer defects on most of our products.
The warranty and return policy outlined below pertains to DrinkTanks® products purchased through DrinkTanks.com. If you purchased your DrinkTanks® product from a retailer and wish to return or exchange it due to a manufacturer defect or other issue covered by our lifetime warranty, you should first contact the retailer to request the return or exchange. It is often easier to process with the retailer to avoid shipping charges, delays in receiving a replacement, or delays in a possible refund. For example, if you purchased your DrinkTanks® product from Amazon, you should process your return or refund directly through your Amazon account.

DrinkTanks® Products Covered by our 5-Year Warranty: Spout Cap, Closing Cup Lid, and Tank Brush.
DrinkTanks® Products Not Covered by Warranty: CO2 Cartridges, CO2 Injector, Tap Clip, Kegulator™, Keg Cap™, Can Sleeves
Having issues with your Keg Cap™ or Kegulator™? While these items are not covered by warranty, we encourage you to reach out to customer service so we can help resolve your issue. Replacement parts will be issued upon availability if needed. Please keep in mind, the Keg Cap™ has been discontinued, and replacement parts are few. CO2 Injectors are still available for purchase under the "Dispensing" tab on DrinkTanks.com.

Damages during shipping
Shipping claims only pertain to www.drinktanks.com customers. If you have received a damaged product, please keep the box and the packing contents, and contact us. If you use a damaged growler after it has been shipped, we cannot replace it. DrinkTanks® will send you a pre-paid shipping label for returning the damaged growler in the original box. A replacement will be sent to you as soon as we receive the damaged growler. If purchased through another retailer like Amazon or Walmart, contact the retailer to make your claim.
Broken or leaking standard caps & lids
Growler Cap: Identify if you have a 1.0 or 2.0 growler by the image below. If you have a 1.0 growler and are experiencing a leak on a newly purchased cap, request a seal adapter from customer service. If you have a 2.0 growler and are experiencing a leak on a newly purchased cap, request a replacement 2.0 seal from customer service.
Craft Cup Lid: The Standard Insulating Lid and the Closing Cup Lid will fit any iteration of our Craft Cups, no matter when your cup or lid were purchased. If you are experiencing issues with your Standard Insulating Lid, please contact customer service.
Growler no longer insulates
If it seems your DrinkTanks Growler is no longer insulating effectively, you can perform a simple test by adding boiling hot water to the growler. Feel for warm or hot spots outside of the growler (below the upper band) after five minutes. No hot spots, no worries. If you feel hot spots the vacuum is no longer working and you are eligible for a replacement. Dents from normal wear and tear generally do not compromise the insulation qualities of your growler.
Peeling or flaking powder coat
If the powder coating is easily flaking off, usually in an area larger than a quarter, this is a defect that is covered by the warranty. A small amount of chipping caused by normal wear and tear of abrasion and impacts is not a defect and is not covered by the warranty.
Lifetime Warranty does not include: Normal wear and tear such as dents, scratches, faded colors, and minimal chipping of the powder coating are not covered by warranty. Additionally, self-inflicted damages whether intentional or not, including substantial dents, punctures, or other forms of breakage, and any after market modifications or alterations made to a DrinkTanks® product, such as disassembling the handle are not covered by warranty. Rubbing or scraping off screen printing or laser engraving is not covered under warranty. DrinkTanks® products are not to be placed in a freezer, cooler, or ice box that falls below 32* F. DrinkTanks® products are not designed to be heated on a stove, in a microwave, in an oven, or by other heat producing device. Freezing or heating your growler voids all warranties. Puncturing the outside or inside steel wall of your growler voids all warranty claims.
Warranty Claims
If you bought your DrinkTanks® product directly from us at drinktanks.com and have an issue covered under our warranty program, we will happily replace parts or the product. If there is an issue with your product but you are not sure if it’s covered under our warranty, please still contact us directly so we can help. In either of these situations, please complete a warranty claim as outlined below.
Non-Warranty Product Returns
We accept returns for products in new, unused condition purchased on drinktanks.com within thirty (30) days of receipt of purchase. If your order is found to be in this condition, you will be eligible for a full refund, not including shipping.

Please note that in several cases, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and is advised to use a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance should your return not be successfully delivered to us. DrinkTanks® is not responsible for packages lost in transit and cannot issue refunds without proof of tracking or insurance.
The action taken to resolve your issue is under the discretion of our customer service team. We will provide replacement parts wherever possible, and a full product replacement when needed. In the event you receive a replacement product, your replacement will be the same size and color as your warrantied product. If that color is no longer available, we will send you the closest match, never of lesser retail value than the product originally purchased.
