A growler is an insulated bottle for taking draft beer home from the tap, built to keep it cold and carbonated instead of flat and warm in an hour. DrinkTanks growlers use vacuum-insulated stainless steel and an airtight seal, holding carbonation for up to 30 days unopened on the Craft line and keeping drinks cold for 45+ hours (Craft) or 24+ hours (Session).

Craft vs Session: which growler line fits you?

Craft growlers are DrinkTanks' full-performance line: a 60 PSI pressure-rated seal that holds carbonation up to 30 days unopened and keeps drinks cold 45+ hours, built for camping trips and longer stretches between refills. Session growlers use a simpler leakproof cap, skip the pressure rating, and keep drinks cold 24+ hours - lighter and easier for a same-day grab-and-go fill.

What size growler do you need?

Size comes down to how many people are drinking and how long the trip is. A 32 oz growler suits one person or a short outing. A 64 oz growler, DrinkTanks' best-selling size, covers 2 to 3 people or a full day out. A 128 oz growler is built for groups, tailgates, or trips where refilling isn't an option.
